Service & Repair

Our service department is staffed with some of the country’s most educated and qualified Yamaha technicians. 

All of our service technicians attend (a week) long training and update school each year. This is comprehensive hands on training sponsored exclusively by Yamaha. This training is required to maintain our 5 Star status with Yamaha.

During this annual school, we have to opportunity to review and learn all of the new Yamaha products . In addition our technicians have one on one time with Yamaha Representatives discussing the latest technology.  We have a good working relationship with the Yamaha factory technicians and service representatives at all levels.

Our service manager is Steve Brickhouse.  Steve has successfully completed training in all 6 of Yamaha’s divisions for the five star program.  Steve has 23 years of experience working with Yamaha outboard engines.

Our staff also includes Thomas Beacham, a Certified Outboard Master Technician, one of only seven in the state of North Carolina.

Tom has 30+ years of experience working with Yamaha.   We are fortunate to have such a highly educated and compentent technician on our team.

Joe Bowling is another technician at Joes Marine Service.  “Joe B” has been in the service industry working on Yamaha and Mercruiser inboard engines for 10  years.

Our technicians have over 75 years of combined experience in service of inboard and outboard engines.
